Meridian Group

A site that filters out the wrong enquiries and gives sales their time back

Two-thirds of enquiries were not from customers but from job seekers and vendors. Sales spent their days sorting the inbox instead of selling. We fixed that.

What was wrong

The site had 340 pages. One hundred and ninety of them were not opened by a single visitor all year — they simply sat there, making it harder for people and for search engines to find what mattered.

Sales received about 60 enquiries a month, and nearly two-thirds were not from customers: some were job seekers, some were vendors pitching services. Managers spent every day sorting the inbox instead of working real leads.

The site existed in three languages that had long since drifted apart. Ukrainian was kept up to date, English was two years behind, and Polish still listed the address of a branch closed in 2021.

  • 190 pages nobody opened

They got in the way of the pages that actually sell something.

  • Two-thirds of enquiries were not customers

Sales lost hours every day sorting mail that led nowhere.

  • A closed branch still listed

For three years the Polish version sent clients to an address that no longer existed.

What we did

We started with a review: 340 pages became 74. Each survivor now answers a specific question a customer actually arrives with. Old addresses were not lost — each one now leads to the nearest equivalent page, so neither people nor search engines lost anything.

The enquiry form became three short questions: what you need, how big it is, and when. Based on the answers the enquiry lands with the right department already marked by priority — nobody has to sort it by hand.

Job seekers and vendors are shown their own forms straight away. They no longer land in the sales inbox, but they are not left without an answer either.

The three language versions moved into one system. If a translation is missing, that is visible immediately — rather than when a customer opens a blank page.

What changed for the sales team

A manager used to start the day sorting mail: this one is a customer, this one is a CV, this one is an ad. Now the site does that itself, before anything reaches a person.

An enquiry arrives with three key questions already answered, so the first call does not start with "so what exactly do you need?" — it starts with the substance. According to the client, that is the most noticeable change since launch.
